Water mains flushing begins in Sturgeon Falls and Cache Bay

Water main flushing in Sturgeon Falls and Cache Bay is underway for the next two to three weeks, according to West Nipissing officials.

Officials say residents may experience discoloured water, sediments, or a change in water pressure. If you experience discolouration, run the tap with cold water for around 15 minutes to allow sufficient time to allow the water to clear.

Signage will be posted in the areas affected to advise residents of the scheduled flushing.

Municipal officials say the flushing of water mains in Verner was completed last week.
