More than 100-thousand Ontarians are affected by autism spectrum disorder. That’s why today, across the globe, people are celebrating World Autism Awareness Day. West Nipissing Mayor Joanne Savage says ceremonies took place across West Nipissing this morning, and the entire community can show their support by sporting blue. Savage adds that autism is actually the most common neurological disorder.
