Nipissing West OPP say online harassment has led to charges for a West Nipissing resident.
Police say they received the complaint in late February from a resident in the municipality. The resident said the accused was harassing them online.
Officials say after an investigation, the accused was arrested on Thursday. The 49-year-old was charged with:
- Criminal Harassment – Repeatedly Communicate
- Uttering Threats – Cause Bodily Harm
The accused has been released from custody and will appear before court in North Bay on June 23.
