The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit reports a seventh confirmed positive case of COVID-19.
The most recent positive is a female in her 80s who has been hospitalized. The Health Unit reports the patient from the District of Parry Sound was infected with the virus while travelling in Mexico.
Of the seven cases to date in the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit catchment area, four are deemed resolved, two are hospitalized, and one remains in self-isolation.
The latest statistics show 435 total tests with 314 negative and 114 pending.
