You have until the end of the month to get your ice hut off Lake Nipissing. In Callander, anglers who leave their huts on the ice past April 7th could be fined and towed. The ice fishing season wrapped up on Lake Nipissing on March 16th but there’s still some huts that have been left behind. Before venturing out to get your hut the MNR says to keep a close eye on ice conditions.
