A family dog interrupted a break and enter at a Sturgeon Falls home. Two people were trying to walk out with a 52 inch TV when the dog’s barking alerted the sleeping homeowners. The dog chased after the thieves who escaped through the back door without the TV. In making their escape the thieves dropped the large screen TV and cracked the screen. The homeowners say it’s possible the culprits got in through an unlocked door. There are no suspects and the investigation continues.
