Food bank to practice social distancing

The West Nipissing Food Bank is putting measures in place to ensure safety for all during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“The board of directors for the West Nipissing Food Bank are implementing social distancing,” Carole Renaud, the president of the food bank posted on Facebook. Clients will not be let in and instead the next food bank day will see volunteers handing out pre-prepared bags to all in need

“These guests will also be asked to sanitize their hands ,” she continued. “This is one way the West Nipissing Food Bank is helping to limit the risk of infection. Food Rescue will also be closed until further notice as we continue to screen for emergencies.”
