A warrant ended with an arrest and charges laid by the Nipissing West OPP.
Last Thursday, while on patrol, police say they saw a man they knew was wanted on an outstanding warrant. They made the arrest on Railway Street.
Officials add, during the arrest, drugs that they suspect to be fentanyl and methamphetamine and a sum of money were seized.
The 28-year-old from Sturgeon Falls has been charged with:
- Two counts of Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Opioid (other than heroin)
- Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000
The accused will face a bail hearing in North Bay tomorrow.
