Snowfall Warning: 15-25 cm of snow expected
Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning, in effect for:
West Nipissing – French River
The national meteorological service is calling for heavy snow late today and tonight.
Snow is expected to begin this afternoon and increase in intensity this evening and overnight. Gradually, the snow should taper to flurries Thursday afternoon.
Snowfall amounts of 15 to 25 cm are expected by the time the snow comes to an end.
In North Bay, higher snowfall amounts are in the forecast, along with a winter storm warning.
Hazardous travel conditions are expected.
Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations.
