After looking at the upcoming weather conditions, the Nipissing Parry Sound Student Transportation Services decided to cancel the school buses for today.
All of West Nipising is affected, including Jocko Point, Sturgeon Falls, Verner, Field. River Valley. and Lavigne.
The NPSSTS says the upcoming snow storm that’s expected to hit around bus time and through the day, make the driving conditions too hazardous
The report came around 05:44 this morning.
All schools remain open for students who can get there safely. Parents are reminded that cancelled bus routes will not run in the afternoon; any students brought to school by other means must be picked up at the end of the school day.
