Four point four million dollars in funding has been announced for mental health and addiction services in North Bay and surrounding communities. The funding announcement was made by the Northeast Local Health Integration Network, and 3-million will be used to set up a women’s forensic bed unit. Some other programs that are receiving funding including the Community Mobilization Hub, and an outreach centre in Mattawa.
