Downtown Sturgeon Falls is about to get a little brighter.
Mayor Joanne Savage and members of the West Nipissing council will be on hand tonight for the lighting of the new lamp posts along King Street starting at 6:00 p.m.
Altogether, there were 15 lamps installed between Front and William Streets. Partially funded by the provincial government through the Main Street Revitalization Initiative, the lamp posts were installed with an eye on brightening and enhancing downtown Sturgeon Falls, according to the municipality.
