It’s been proven as a more reliable sign of Spring than any groundhog prediction and it starts today in West Nipissing. It’s the annual re-opening of the world famous chip stands in Sturgeon Falls. Residents and travelers look forward to making the trip for their favourite home-made poutine or pogos and a few of those chip stands are re-opening today at 11 AM including Riv’s and Monique’s “Le Chip Stand”.
