West Nipissing (including River Valley,Verner, Sturgeon Falls, Field, Lavigne, and Jocko Point) will not have school bus service this morning.
The reason the Nipissing-Parry Sound Student Transportation Service cancelled the buses was the forecasted Snowfall warning.
Environment Canada is calling for snow, at times heavy, with a risk of freezing rain this morning. Snowfall will amount to about 5 to 10 cm except 15 cm over northern sections.
At this time, all schools remain open for students who can get there safely. Parents are reminded that cancelled bus routes will not run in the afternoon; any students brought to school by other means must be picked up at the end of the school day.
