North Bay Police Services continued a busy weekend with another arrest on Saturday.
After responding to a theft complaint at the Northgate Mall, an investigation led to an arrest of a 23-year-old girl from Sudbury.
She has been charged with:
- One count of Theft under $5000
- One Count of Possession of a Schedule I substance (suspected Purple Fentanyl)
- One Count of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (suspected cocaine)

It is alleged that the accused left a store carrying a number of stolen items, but was stopped by a loss prevention officer and turned over to the police. During the arrest, officers seized packages believed to be cocaine and purple fentanyl.
