Care to Share set to help out local food bank

If you or someone you know is looking to shed some baby products, the West Nipissing Child and Family Centre will take it.

The program is called “Care to Share” and is relatively new.

“We started this program together when we started our affiliation with the food bank,” Lucie Bureau of the Child and Family Centre explained. “We noticed they didn’t have very many baby supplies so we were thinking of getting something together to help out.”

Care to Share will be out in the community from November 18-22 to accept donations. They are looking for diapers, wipes, baby wash, and baby lotion. Monetary donations are also accepted. Anything missing will be purchased with the money raised and given to the food bank.

“Once we are all done collecting, we are going to take a picture to show the community what we have picked up,” Bureau said.
