A popular game invented in North Bay is about to get an app.
The Game of Things will launch a new app for your phone or tablet later this week.
“It has been three years in the making,” Co-inventor Mark Sherry says. “We have done three different versions of it, and we finally think we have gotten it right where it simulates the play of the party game, but it also allows you to play when you’re not in the same room. You can play anywhere, any time.”
Until this point, Game of Things was a game where someone read aloud a topic card, and then the other players wrote down a response to it anonymously, and the person who read the topic card had to guess who wrote what answer.
The app will launch November 2 at the Hops and Vines fundraiser at the Capitol Centre.
