OPP investigating break, enter and theft

West Nipissing OPP is asking the public for help in a break, enter and theft investigation.

Sometime between September 30 and October 21, an unknown person(s) broke into a seasonal home and shed located on Old Aubin Road in Lavigne.

The stolen property includes, but is not limited to:

  • number of hand tools
  • various garden tools
  • electronics (DVD player, 50′ TV and Bell receiver)
  • yellow/black Dewalt cordless drill
  • dark blue Milwaukee chop saw
  • red Makita Sawzall
  • grey skill saw
  • yellow Firman 10,000 Watt generator
  • red Troy-Bilt lawn trimmer
  • green Yard Machines snow blower (30-inch blade)
  • natural gas barbecue
  • men’s and ladies’ hunting jackets and pants
  • black/red Husky toolbox
  • 28-inch laser level in a black box
  • four propane gas tanks – 30 lbs & 20 lbs (x3)

The value of the property that was stolen is estimated to be approximately $6,000.

The investigation is continuing. Anyone who might have information in relation to this break, enter, and theft, is urged to contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122 or their nearest police authority.
