Three people are recovering today after a nasty crash on Highway 17. It happened on Wednesday when a pick-up heading westbound slowed down to make a turn, and a car crashed into it. The car then flew into the eastbound lane hitting a van, which then crashed into two other cars. Three people were sent to hospital with minor injuries. Police have now charged a 55-year-old Mattawa woman for careless driving.
