Dentist gets warning after kid ends up in the hospital…

A dentist in North Bay has received a warning from the Health Professions Appeal and Review Board. A four-year-old boy ended up having a two day hospital stay after he had an anti-thumb sucking device put in his mouth. The patient was apparently very dehydrated, and had not been eating or sleeping. The dentist has not been named, and was working in the office of another practitioner who was on leave.
