In mid-September, the Temiskaming Detachment of the OPP, Temiskaming Crime Unit Temiskaming Community Street Crime Unit, OPP Digital Forensics Unit, and Child Sexual Exploitation Unit conducted an investigation into a person accessing child pornography online.
As a result of the investigation, police arrested a 68-year-old male from Englehart and he was charged with “Access Any Child Pornography.”
The accused has been released on a Recognizance of Bail and is scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice on October 29, in the City of Temiskaming Shores.
The alleged incidents took place between August 7 and September 6.
