These cold temperatures are wreaking havoc on local water pipes. The city has received several complaints about frozen water pipes over the last couple of weeks and are advising people to start running a cold water tap on a continuous basis, at least until the end of March. The water should be about a pencil size in diameter, and should run in a steady flow. If you suspect you might have a frozen pipe, contact Public Works.
