Several towns in Temiskaming are benefitting from the federal gas tax. Nipissing-Temiskaming MP Jay Aspin says communities like Temagami and Temiskaming Shores will share about $860,000 under the Building Canada Plan. In a separate funding announcement, Aspin has also given the Cobalt Classic Theatre and Pied Pipers Kidshows $38,000. Both groups will use the grants to offset programming costs.
