College Boreal has again hosted another Mining Day. The Sudbury campus saw about 260 students from the region learn more about the industry from experts in the field. They also formed contacts for future job opportunities. Representatives were from Glencore which has operations in Timmins and Stantec which does work for the City of North Bay. Boreal has held Mining Day for five consecutive years.
