West Nipissing police are investigating a daring theft in Field. Inspector Ray St. Pierre says a homeowner got a surprise when he got back home and saw his vehicle minus its rim and tires. St. Pierre hopes witnesses may have seen what happened because it’s not every day someone jacks up a vehicle to remove all the tires and rims. Meanwhile a woman at a Legion function in Sturgeon Falls has lost quite a bit of money. The money was in her purse which was stolen during an event. Police hope anyone with information can help them with the theft. And West Nipissing police have also arrested a man and woman for drug offenses. Both face possession for the purpose of trafficking charges and possession of property obtained by crime. Police seized some drugs and cash in the raid.
