The Municipality of West Nipissing again has bottled water for Verner residents.
It`s to offset the discolouration residents are experiencing from high levels of manganese in the municipal water system.
The bottled water is available at the Verner Fire Hall from 10:00am to 7:00pm on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The municipality is giving households two cases each.
The municipality also says if you picked up two cases last week, you are eligible to receive another two cases this week.
The discolouration does not present any bacteriological issues despite the smell and taste that may accompany the water`s colour.
The municipality will provide updates as the situation changes.
This evening in the council chambers, council is holding a special meeting to deal with this issue and see if a solution can be found.
