OPP arrests three Sturgeon Falls residents in drug bust

Three Sturgeon Falls residents face drug-related charges after a bust on Front Street in the community.

One of the accused is 33 and is looking at charges of possession of opioids for the purpose of trafficking, trafficking in opioids, possession of cocaine, unauthorized possession of a weapon and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

The other two accused are 29 and 40 and each is charged with possession of an opioid.

The bust took place on July 25th by the OPP’s Community Street Crime Unit and the Nipissing West OPP.

Some fentanyl with a street value of $6,500 and an illegal knife were seized.
