People who serve as volunteers on the various boards and committees in West Nipissing will now get reimbursed to cover expenses.
The volunteers will be given $75 for every meeting they attend.
Members who sit on the Committee of Adjustments and Planning Board are paid twice even though they are mostly the same people and their meetings are on the same days.
To collect, the volunteer has to be at the meeting.
The payment is to help cover travelling and meal expenses.
