Environment Canada has issued a heat warning for the Nipissing District.
The mercury is climbing to 29 degrees Thursday afternoon but the humidity will make it feel like it’s 35.
It gets hotter on Friday.
The temperature will hit 31 degrees on Friday and the region will experience a humidex reading of 39.
Motorists are reminded not to leave children and pets in vehicles with their engine turned off.
Also, stay hydrated and wear loose clothing.
Saturday and Sunday see a return to more seasonal temperatures with the high both days in the mid-20s.
