North Bay police have recovered a $400,000 boom truck, now they’re trying to learn who was behind the theft.
Police determined the boom truck, which was parked at a Seymour Street business, was taken sometime before 2:00am Sunday and they were notified of the theft around 2:00pm Sunday.
With help from the OPP, the large truck was found on Centennial Crescent in Corbeil later Sunday afternoon.
However, missing from the vehicle was about $5,000 in construction material it contained.
Anyone with information about the theft can call North Bay police at 497-5555 and select option 9 to speak to a police officer.
