Beginning sometime in the future, there will be a video and audio recording of the West Nipissing closed meetings of council.
The change is the result of a recommendation from the Ombudsman.
The recordings are something some municipalities do.
Unlike the public portion of council which is recorded and then put on the internet, the recordings of the in-camera sessions will be kept secure so they don’t fall into public hands.
