West Nipissing police have made an arrest after someone’s wallet with several credit cards and identification was taken from a vehicle.
The victim told police the wallet was in the vehicle overnight and that it was missing the next day.
Later, someone began making purchases with the credit cards.
By tracking the transactions, police were able to identify the purchaser and arrested a man.
He’s charged with use credit card, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 and fraud under $5,000.
