Area residents have a chance to learn the impact brain injuries have on the victims and their survivors.
The Brain Injury Association of North Bay and Area is holding a Brain Injury Awareness event tomorrow at the Grande Event Centre.
Ten local agencies will have displays at the event including the host organization.
Other organizations include Brainworks Rehab and the Ontario Brain Injury Association.

The event increases awareness not only about the impact brain injuries have but also the resources people can tap into to help them in the event of an injury.
The event runs from noon to 3:00pm and is free.
