A 39-year-old Sudbury man is looking at a charge of manslaughter in connection with an opioid death.
Sudbury police charged the man after a resident died from opioids on February 1st of this year.
The man is also looking at charge of trafficking in opioids.
In the Sudbury region, an opioid-related death occurs on average every five days.
Across Canada about nine thousand people have died as a result of opioid overdoes in the last two years.
