Once again the flood warning for Lake Nipissing has been extended.
The North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority says the warning is now in place until next Monday.
The region is expecting little to no rain in the days ahead, but now it’s the wind that’s creating problems.
The wind is expected to be a factor from now into Friday.

It’s believed that the wind caused the lake to rise another two centimetres over the last 24 hours.
The Conservation Authority believes there’s a strong potential that the lake could rise further in the next week.
