North Bay city councilor honoured by FONOM

He’s represented North Bay city council for years on FONOM and now the lobby group has recognized Mac Bain as its Executive of the Year.

The award from the Federation of Northern Ontario Municipalities recognizes members who have shown dedication and exemplary efforts to help Northern Ontario grow and prosper.

North Bay Mayor Al McDonald says Bain is a tireless worker and not only advocates for local residents on the lobby group, but he also advocates for residents across Northern Ontario.

McDonald says Bain’s recognition is well deserved.

Bain said it was an honour to be recognized and was thankful to his family and employer who give him the latitude to work on overcoming challenges the north faces.
