The flood warning for the region is now in effect until Tuesday as a result of Lake Nipissing reaching a flood damage level.
The North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority has switched on the Back-flood Control Structure it has at Parks Creek in North Bay to pump water back into the lake.
This is to stop water from Parks Creek from rising too high and damaging 350 nearby homes.
The Conservation Authority says the lake level is expected to keep rising for another 10 to 15 days.
