The Children’s Aid Society has been alerted to an incident where a three-year-old child was wandering the streets of Sturgeon Falls alone without a coat or shoes.
Some strangers saw the toddler last Saturday and called the police.
Police picked up the child and reunited the youngster with its mother.
Police say the child was healthy.
The CAS is called in child welfare matters.
