The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit says flu activity in the area is widespread. As of Saturday, they had confirmed 47 cases of the flu in the area, which is up from 25 the week before. Health officials remind people to stay home if your sick, was your hands regularly, and to cover your cough.
