West Nipissing police are trying to catch who laid down spikes on Cache Bay Road.
The spikes flattened three tires on a vehicle after a person drove over them on Good Friday.
That victim reported the incident to police.
Police say it appears the spikes are homemade.
They add they were put there intentionally with the goal of damaging motor vehicles.
Police say this is an ongoing investigation and ask any member of the public with information about the case to call them.
