The Sturgeon River, Lake Nipissing, the Upper French River Watershed and South River are all under a flood warning.
The warning is the result of that rain we got just before Easter weekend coupled with fast-melting snow.
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry says the warning is in effect until Thursday.
The MNRF says banks and shorelines adjacent to water bodies are extremely slippery and unstable.
It’s warning parents not to let children and pets get too close to fast-flowing water.
