One of two people involved in the theft of a motor vehicle has been arrested by West Nipissing police.
Police made their arrest early Sunday afternoon.
They are still looking for the second person involved with the stolen vehicle case.
Police are asking motorists not to pick up hitchhikers in the meantime.
