High school without up to date immunizations could face suspension…

If your high school student’s not up to date on their immunizations, they could face suspension. The Health Unit will be sending home letters to kids with missing shots on their records over the next month, and then will be holding immunization clinics at each high school from February 17th to the 27th. Suspension notices will be sent home in March.

The following immunizations are now mandatory for attendance at school:

• 10 years after the 4-6 year immunization – Tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis
