As Easter approaches, Canadian Blood Services is trying to ensure there’s enough blood in the system to supply hospital patients with blood in case it’s needed.
To that end the agency is holding a blood drive in Sturgeon Falls April 9th at the Recreation Centre.
The goal is to collect 96 units of blood.
CBS says giving blood from start to finish takes no more than an hour of a person’s time.
