It won’t be long before West Nipissing Police hold their Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics.
Chief Ray St. Pierre says the local police have held the event for at least 30 years.
St. Pierre says the Torch Run serves a lot of purposes like reducing barriers and stigmas.
St. Pierre says West Nipissing sends a number of athletes to the Special Olympics each year.
This year’s Torch Run will take place later in May.
