Last Summer, Festival Chair, Charlie Lang announced that 2015 will see changes to the former West Nipissing Step Dance and Fiddle Festival. Diminished participation in the competition portion and more interest in live music by residents and festival goers has prompted the new West Nipissing Country Music Fiddle Festival in August. Although no band names have been released, there will be music all weekend long, for free. Charlie Lang also confirmed that the local talent night will also be returning.
