The North Bay man accused in the murder of Renee Sweeney of Sudbury will remain behind bars until his trial.
Robert Steven Wright is charged with first-degree murder in connection with the stabbing death of Sweeney in 1998.
Wright, who is 39, was arrested in North Bay during December and has been in custody during all that time.
Sweeney was stabbed to death at the adult store where she worked back on January 27th, 1998.
The victim was 23 at the time.
Police never closed the case and 20 years after Sweeney’s death arrested Wright.
