It’s looking less likely that Minnehaha Bay in Sturgeon Falls can host an outdoor rink this winter. Four contractors were approached by municipal staff to build and operate the facility. However they all refused either because they’re too busy, they don’t have the extra employees or insurance was an issue. But two of them told staff they might consider the project next year. The contractors say with more notice they’ll have time to look for employees who can maintain an outdoor rink.
