The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit has issued a cold advisory for their entire district. The windchill could mean temperatures of -40 and below with the winchill. They remind people to keep infants and the elderly out of the cold. Also watch for frost bite and hypothermia if you’re outdoors.
All school buses in West Nipissing and area are also cancelled today because of the extreme cold. the school board website to clarify if your school bus is included. http://en.npssts.ca/npssts/en/delays
