Two months after someone passed a fake $100 bill in West Nipissing, local police have made an arrest in the case.
The bill was used in January resulting in a complaint to police on January 13th.
The complainant told police the user was a man.
The phony $100 bill had some Chinese markings on it but what gave it away was the lack of usual security features.
On March 13th police arrested a 32-year-old Sturgeon Falls man who now faces a charge of uttering counterfeit money.
